Does Molkosan Original also contain L(-) lactic acid?
Molkosan® contains approximately 7% L(+) lactic acid, which is the naturally occurring and beneficial form.
It also contains a very small amount of L(-) lactic acid, representing less than 5% of the total lactic acid content.
Lactic acid exists in two forms: L(+) and L(-). The L(+) form is the type naturally produced and used by the body, while the L(-) form is present only in very small amounts and is not considered significant in this product.
