# Troubles des voies urinaires – Information générale

Le système urinaire joue un rôle essentiel en produisant et en éliminant l’urine. Lorsque des bactéries s’y infiltrent, elles peuvent causer une infection urinaire (IVU), le plus souvent au niveau de la vessie et de l’urètre.
