# Herbatint permanent hair colour: Can I use it after chemotherapy?

We recommend consulting your healthcare professional before using any hair colour product after chemotherapy.

As a general guideline, it is recommended to wait at least six months after your last treatment before colouring your hair, to allow the scalp and hair to recover.

Although [Herbatint](https://herbatint.ca/en-ca) is a more natural alternative to many conventional hair colour products, the decision to use it remains a personal one.

It is essential to perform an allergy (patch) test before use, and consulting a professional colourist may help you achieve the desired result safely.
