# Is MenoForce thujone-free?

[MenoForce tablets](https://shop.avogel.ca/products/a-vogel-menoforce-30-tablets) are not completely thujone-free, but they are carefully thujone-controlled.

This means that thujone levels are reduced during production and maintained well within established safety limits.

In accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia, thujone content is kept below 20 ppm (parts per million). At the recommended dosage, intake remains far below the daily safety threshold.

For context, even at higher intake levels, the amount of thujone from MenoForce remains significantly below the upper safety limit of 6 mg per day. Clinical studies and regulatory reviews, including those by the European Medicines Agency, confirm that sage preparations used within recommended doses are not expected to pose safety concerns.

MenoForce has also been evaluated in clinical trials, showing benefits for symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats.

As long as recommended dosages are followed, long-term use is considered safe.
