# Why do some A.Vogel tablets contain hydrogenated cottonseed oil?

Hydrogenated cottonseed oil is used in small amounts in certain tablets for several important reasons:

- It acts as a lubricant during the manufacturing process, helping prevent tablets from sticking to equipment.
- It contributes to the tablet’s stability and structure, ensuring proper consistency and an optimal shelf life. Without it, the product would remain stable for only a few months.
- It is a conventional, natural, and GMO-free oil.

All products developed in Roggwil by Bioforce Switzerland meet the highest quality standards. Every ingredient is carefully analyzed for quality, origin, manufacturing process, and safety (including toxicity and potential side effects), with no exceptions.

The quantity used in each tablet is extremely small—measured in milligrams—compared to the several grams of similar substances typically consumed daily through food. This amount is considered too minimal to have any impact on health.
