Are all your essential oils safe to use if you have a dog at home?

Not all essential oils are safe around dogs. Some oils can be harmful whether applied on their skin, diffused in the air, or accidentally ingested after a spill. Dogs also have a highly sensitive sense of smell, so even a small amount may feel overwhelming to them.

You may notice your dog avoiding rooms where oils are being diffused or showing changes in behavior. It’s always important to ensure they have the option to leave the space.
To minimize exposure, you can dilute Aromaforce essential oils to create a light room spray. This helps control dispersion while targeting specific areas.
